Cast Net Maintenance

Proper maintenance of your net will ensure a long life.

1. Rinse thoroughly after each use

2. Let the net dry in a shady area

3. Let the net hang with the leads touching the floor, inside away from direct sunlight.

4. After several uses (10-15), fill a five gallon bucket with hose water add 1 cap of full liquid fabric softener, and soak the net for 45-60 minutes.

5. Rinse net very well. This removes any slime or salt build up on the knots.

6. Keep you net away from caustic solutions, i.e. gas diesel fuel, battery acid, bleach, soaps, wd40, etc.
