Mesh Guide Bait Nets

There are two methods of measuring mesh size. The "stretch size" and the "bar or box size". All measurements here are quoted on stretch size.
The bar or box size measures the distance between the side knot and the bottom knot. 
The stretch size measures the distance between the bottom and top knots.

1/2" Mesh Suggested uses: Glass Minnows, Small Sardines, Lake Shad

3/4" Mesh Suggested uses: Green Backs, White bait, Ballyhoo, Shiners

1" Mesh Suggested uses: Pin Fish, Shad, Herring, Finger Mullet

1-1/4" Mesh Suggested uses: Poggies, Small Mullet, Shad

1-1/2" Mesh Suggested uses: Poggies, Larger Shad
